  1. Yes, you can re-invest dividends automatically. Dividends are calculated relative to the fraction of the share you own. For.e.g if you own half a share, you will get dividend for half a share and so on.

  5. Hi Rebecca,

Any proceeds from your stocks sell goes to your stockpile account.
You can link a bank account to stockpile account. Once you do that, you can transfer cash from your stockpile account to your bank. There is no fee to transfer cash in and out of your bank account.

    Hope this helps!

  12. The question ignored twice was do you get stock cirtificates? The question is, do I own the stock or do you own them and manage them for me?

  13. Hi Patricia, You own the stock, you have all voting rights as stock owner no matter how much fraction you own, earn dividends, you can re-invest dividends, track investments, set up an auto-investment plan etc.. For e.g. if you own half a share of Nike and if Nike issues dividend then you earn half the dividend. You get stock in your account electronically. You don’t get physical stock certificate. Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have further questions. Happy investing!

However, Minor can get their own account login on Stockpile where they can track performance of their investments, and place trades that goes to the parent/custodian for an approval. It’s a very simple flow and minor is empowered to build their investment portfolio on Stockpile.
